My friend Amber and I have been talking about seeing a psychic for a long time now – we wanted a fun, cheapo reading that we could overanalyze for Hours of Fun©.
And tonight, we finally went.
The woman (and her yappy dog named Joshua) told me a bunch of things that may or may not come true, most notably that I would be married in five years in June, that I would own my own business someday and that “my color” was velvet.
Silly psychic. Velvet isn’t a color. I Googled it. It’s not.

I think velvet is kind of purple with a hint of blue and pleasant to touch. Congrats on ur upcoming predicted wedding! I am happy for you.

everyone is free to do as he or she pleases, but honestly, i think psychics are bad juju… you don’t want to rouse queer spirits and get caught up in something paranormally traumatic. i think some psychics are real; there’s some kind of life force they’re channeling but they’re cheating and violating truth. i don’t know if that makes sense but i hope it was harmless fun and ya don’t get caught up.
i predict this won’t be your last visit to a psychic and there’s no way you can prove me wrong. hee hee

That sounds like good fodder for Hours of Fun. I would have had trouble keeping a straight face if anyone told me my color was velvet (or even chiffon).
My nephew said that I always wear the same color,I wear floral prints almost all the time,I asked “What color do I wear?”,he said “Flowers” . That would be cute but he was 15 years old not 6. I-yi-yi.

I think, psychic is kind of thing that with kinda effect. Why sometimes it seems true, because when we listened to that and deep inside we think it might be true, under this situation, we might have a tendency to the thing the psychic said.
However, sometimes the psychic might be kinda precise. I mean, when something was happened, and you check the psychic, they might knew what was happened to you. Or maybe, base on these cases, psychic build a magic that make us believe in them.

I used to go see Psychics a lot. The cheapo ones, just to have fun. There are probably about 50 in the city about 20 minutes away from me. My friends and I would make it a point to do that atleast once a week to have something to laugh about.
Eventually, one scared the crap out of my friend and we never went back. I still dunno what she said.
