What charities or non profit organizations do you support?
True story: once upon a time (2006) I interned at this awesome nonprofit called Do Something and got to write for their magazine, go to concerts and do all sorts of fun stuff, for lack of a more coherent catchall term.
On my second-to-last day, I wrote a PSA script for Cheyenne (remember her? no? she had an MTV show) to film so it could air on ChannelOne. She had scheduling conflicts and couldn’t tape it, so her replacement was this new group of three brothers who played in a band on the Disney Channel.
Maybe it’s better that she backed out . . .

after 9/11 i had a group of people who were supposed to start a non-profit but the people who had enough money decided they loved money more than anything.. the jerks, smart, logical douche bags. ah well
Or maybe not, maybe she should have kept the gig.
I despise the Jonas Brothers with all my heart, mind, body, and soul.
That sounds like a cool non-profit! I’m pretty good about giving money but I don’t just support one group or another.

I don’t like it, but there are so many scams out there I gave up on charities. There are alternatives. I adopted a child with very severe disabilities. It has been the greatest challenge of my life. It has also been the most rewarding. Her name is Gemee and she is entirely unique. All of her life she has had the worst possible medical prognosis…yet she thrives, fed on something within. She is my hero. There are many ways to give…all good if wholly from the heart; and they all pay dividends.
i watched your archives until my brain stopped working. im suing stephen. Looks like im going to have to represent myself though, maybe i will bring a stuffed cow to court, thatll help my case

how did you find out about do something? i feel like nobody knows who they are
@Natalia - Ok… Now I will feel silly. lol I first heard of them when I bought a compilation CD that they had put out through Taco Bell. I was in highschool… so almost twenty years ago… There are some good songs on it, I still have it. End Of Innocence is on it… I can’t remember who did that song!
Also I occasionally see their service announcements.
David Cook is doing really well right now. I actually liked Carly’s sond tonight too.. The dress was horrific though, made her look prego. lol
